I've not had much time for anything recently due to my job, I was made a Supervisor when I was transferred. Then last week I was asked if I would consider being a Manager but after careful consideration I opted not to accept. Mostly because it would mean a lot more extra hours away from home and family. At the moment I'm away from home up to 12 hours a day, 4 days a week, if I become a manager it will mean 14 (or more) hours, 5 (or more) days a week. Hmmm let me think, umm no thank you.
As it is as the only supervisor available, one is out sick and our Manager is away on conference, I am working 2 extra days this week. Was hoping to be off this weekend but wasn't to be.
I had to run around yesterday doing the things I was hoping to space over 2 days, had to cut my list dramatically. First of all was a car boot sale at the church, my daughter wanted to sell some things on the stall Mum had so I had to drop her there. Did find some wonderful treasures, a vintage pattern kit, it's called Style 'n Fit Pattern Kit. Promises you can "make your own patterns in minutes and save pounds". Also got 'Weekend Sewer's Guide to Dresses" (1998) and a Hem marker. All for the princely sum of $4, which I had to bite my mum for.
After I left there I needed to look for some new clothes, am going to a Shower tea next weekend and am supposed to wear a sun dress. I suppose I could have made something but I still need to work out how to add extra hours into my day. Anyone got any they can spare? Didn't find any sundresses but did find a nice skirt and a couple of co-ordinating tops. I will be making my dress to wear to the wedding next month. I know I could wear the dress I made for our nephew's wedding we went to but it's his sister who is getting married, I'd like to be dressed differently. I saw a Sari in a local shop that I am thinking of buying, solely to use the fabric for my dress. Going to take another look at it on Tuesday if I am not working. It's 6 1/2 metres for only $30, would just have to find a suitable pattern.
Just looked at the time I better drag myself into bed, I have to be on a train in 7 hours, though I might just drive instead I can sleep in for an extra half hour.

Oh dear, sounds like you are spreading yourself quite thin. I'm glad you didn't go for manager. Try getting to bed a bit earlier my dear, I think you are in need of a bit more rest.
I have popped in a couple of times and figured that the change of work location was taking up a lot more of your time. Gee thats a lot of hours you are doing! Your car boot finds sound wonderful!
